xx ARE WE NEARING THE END OF THIS AGE?
Mar 02, 2025, 08:57 PM by Val
It is widely held that there will be a total of 7 thousand years until the end of the millennium. Since God created everything in six days and then the Sabbath day rest.
To break this down a little more, from Adam until Abraham was 2000 years. From Abraham to Jesus was 2000 years. And from Jesus until the end of the church age is 2000 years. A 7 year gap, (tribulation), to finish the 490 years for Israel from Daniel 9:24-27. Then the millennial reign of Jesus on Earth.
So, I would just like to point out, it has been very close to 2000 years since the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus.

I will continue this later, unless...

Communion 1st One
  • Where are they. Jerusalem, Upper room, just the twelve.
  • So there just having a normal Passover Seder...What's that?
  • They celebrate their deliverance from Egypt.
  • Remember the 10 plagues. Remember the last one. The killing of the firstborn male from every house, except....
  • It's when they come together to celebrate how the angel of death passed over the houses that had the blood of a lamb applied on the door posts and the top of the door...This resulted in the Jews getting kicked out.
  • Then He says...............this
  • Luke 22:19   Take eat this is my body, do this in remembrance of me.
  • They probably didn't understand right then because it is before the cross, but they understood later.
  • He just upset everything and they didn't get it.
  • He is saying I am the Lamb. I am who you will remember at this celebration from now on. It is My blood that will cause judgement to Passover. When it is applied to your dwelling. Your flesh that you live in. That dwelling. How do you apply it.
  • John 1:12 But to all who did receive Him, who believed in His name, He gave the right to become the children of God.
  • John 1:29 (John the baptist says) Behold, The Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
  • What is Unique about Jesus Blood, It's the blood of The King.......It is Sinless, untainted. It is alive.. His blood is still,,, 2 thousand years later calling out.
  • Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
  • Isaiah 55:1 Come, all who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk, without money and without price.
xx Let's get good Sermons

Replace Sermon with a better Speaker from internet.

I've been thinking that we should get some really great Sermons preached from a large church that has really great recording engineers. You know the ones, the very practiced communicators that have voice inflections and pauses at all the right spots. They are able to carry the audience along like watching a good movie. Moving the congregation through, a well thought out, and executed dialogue pulling emotions out of you, maybe some laughing and a few tears throughout the well crafted journey. We, of course, would pick our sermon from beautiful sounding speakers with a tone and resonance that is rarely enjoyed in a small church.
This may sound like a bad idea to the pastor but come on, with the abundance of choices out there why should we put ourselves through experiences that are less than awesome?
Lots of churches have already gone to canned worship music cuz It is awesome, the layered vocals and pitch correction.
Guitars and keyboards doing little nuanced fills multiple drummers the song is incredibly performed, singers everywhere all with big fat voices that hang off both sides of a note. You can just sit there and enjoy the Big Performers in your own little church what a rush, if your not moved emotionally you're probably deaf or already dead.
So why should we limit the Big awesome experience to worship, church could be so much Bigger and Better if we just go for it.  Why should we settle for what God has put on our table, reach across the aisle and grab some Steak and potatoes.
Don't be a negative Nancy on this incredible idea.
When it works we can all go out and get our teeth whitened, and smile alot.
If this made you think. Good..
xx Attacks
Feb 12, 2025, 09:06 AM by Val

Let's look at the first thing that came under attack on this Earth. It was the word of God, wasn't it?

Gen 3:1 ISV
1Now the Shining One*, was more clever than any animal of the field that the LORD God had made. He asked the woman, "Did God actually say, 'You are not to eat from any tree of the garden'?"
2"We may eat from the trees of the garden," the woman answered the Shining One, 3"but as for the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the garden, God has said, 'You are not to eat from it, nor are you to touch it, or you will die.'"
4"You certainly will not die!" the Shining One told the woman. 5"Even God knows that on the day you eat from it, your eyes will be opened and you'll become like God, knowing good and evil."

*3:1 Or the Diviner; the Heb. word ha-Nachash connotes one who falsely claims to reveal God's word; or the Serpent; cf. Isa 14:12; Eze 28:13-14

It always seemed odd to me that Eve was listening to a plain old snake it turns out the being she was talking to was more angelic in appearance than the normal english translation picture that is painted for us. So this beings countenance would already give him an air of importance which makes the scene easier to understand why she suddenly doubted. This being shows up with an air of authority which causes her to listen and eventually doubt.
The shining one has never stopped casting doubt upon God's word. That is his continuous attack. He is doing it today. He attacks or challenges the very simple and understandable meaning of God's word.
