Understanding Kingdom Principles: A Biblical Perspective
The Kingdom of God is the central theme of Jesus' teaching, emphasizing the rule and reign of God in the hearts of believers. To fully embrace our role as Kingdom citizens, we must understand and live by Kingdom principles. These principles guide us in our spiritual journey and help us align with God's divine will.
The Priority of the Kingdom
Jesus instructed His followers to prioritize the Kingdom of God above all else:
"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33, NIV)
This principle teaches us that when we put God's Kingdom first, everything else—our needs, desires, and concerns—falls into place according to His plan.
Kingdom Citizenship
As believers, we are citizens of God's Kingdom, not just members of an earthly nation. Paul reminds us:
"But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ." (Philippians 3:20, NIV)
This means our conduct, values, and mindset should reflect God's nature rather than worldly influences.
The Principle of Servanthood
In God's Kingdom, greatness is defined by humility and service. Jesus exemplified this principle when He said:
"Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave—just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." (Matthew 20:26-28, NIV)
Servanthood is not a sign of weakness but a demonstration of Kingdom strength.
The Principle of Faith and Obedience
The Kingdom of God operates on faith and obedience to God's Word. Hebrews 11:6 states:
"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him."
Obedience to God's commands unlocks His promises and blessings in our lives (Deuteronomy 28:1-2).
The Principle of Kingdom Authority
Believers have been given authority to operate in Kingdom power:
"I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." (Matthew 16:19, NIV)
Understanding and exercising our Kingdom authority enables us to overcome spiritual battles and advance God's will on earth.
The Law of Sowing and Reaping
God's Kingdom operates on the principle of sowing and reaping:
"Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows." (Galatians 6:7, NIV)
This applies to our time, finances, and spiritual investments. When we sow in faith, we reap God's abundant blessings.
Living According to Kingdom Principles

• Live by Kingdom Values – Reflect Christ in every aspect of life.
• Walk in Love and Forgiveness – Love is the foundation of God's Kingdom (John 13:34-35).
• Demonstrate Righteousness and Integrity – Represent God with purity and honesty.
• Advance the Kingdom Through Evangelism – Share the Gospel boldly (Matthew 28:19-20).

Conclusion
Understanding and applying Kingdom principles transforms our lives and enables us to walk in God's divine purpose. As we seek His Kingdom first, embrace servanthood, live by faith, and exercise Kingdom authority, we align ourselves with God's will and experience His supernatural provision.
May we continually grow in our understanding of God's Kingdom and strive to live as faithful ambassadors for Christ!

   Just have to jump in on this. 
It is my understanding, at least for now.  :papa:

-That the "Kingdom" or I guess any Kingdom has 2 attributes.
1. The realm that is inside the boarders of the Kingdom, like Heaven. It has a wall and gates and we can enter through  one gate that is open to "whomsoever". But once inside the gates we can enjoy all the wonders and benefits of its magnificence. We also will be able to see, The King, in fact, we will all have to stand before Him. We, each of us have an appointment. Sorry getting off topic.
2. A Kingdom can control, rule over, areas outside of its boarder. Like Rome, it ruled over Israel in Jesus day but Israel still had its customs and religion and a lot of liberty to go on like they normally did. But Rome ruled over them  and imposed certain things on Israel and its citizens. Like tax's.
So whats it all about. Jesus ruled over wherever He was physically on this earth. We see power coming out of Him. We see diseased people trying to touch Him. We see people trying to push into His presence. But the actual physical Kingdom will come after the tribulation period.
